“Never before have I witnessed such a piece of rogue technology before. This particular unit was found deep within the ruins of old Moscow by one of our scouting teams just this past year. By the damage indicated on the neural artificial brain, this unit was once housed in a human-like biometric casing, but was damaged to the point of almost killing the artificial brain.
Unlike many of the rogue units we've come across in the past, when we placed “AngeI” within it's new housing, it did not become immediately violent. When researching the hex data within the artificial brain, the creators of this unit were fascinated with the creation of a “virtual heaven,” a place to escape to within the devastated ruins of the old world. Diving deeper into the data, it appears that they were somewhat successful, and they used this unit to store the data of the program as a way of keeping it safe. However, judging by the diagnostics, when “AngeI” was damaged by an unknown entity, the data of the “virtual heaven” program was severely corrupted.
When trying to access and repair the data, “AngeI” became extremely erratic, severely injuring three of our researchers. “AngeI” seems to be extremely protective of the program, treating it as almost a mother protecting her child. For several weeks we were essentially stuck, as any attempt to access the program directly caused “AngeI” to become violent.
However yesterday, we struck a milestone. When observing the diagnostics of “AngeI's” artificial brain indirectly during routine maintenance, we were able to fine tune into a portion of its brain, revealing high-frequency audio waves emitting from it. With the use of our frequency decoding machine, we were finally able to tap into “AngeI's” brain, revealing a serene, heaven-like sound of which I had never heard before.
Clearly the “virtual heaven” within “AngeI” is still active, albeit in a damaged state, which will bode well for our future research.
Attached to this document are samples of several frequencies we captured during our research; feel free to notate them as needed.
In conclusion, I recommend “AngeI” be moved to Level 6B – A.I. Dismantling for further research into the “virtual heaven” program.”
